Ladder Hatch

Ockwells Ladder Hatches are designed to be lightweight for handling and ease of use on site whilst giving you a safe standing platform when installed. The checker plate lid is slotted to allow the ladder to be left in place when closed. Integral fixing loops allow the ladder to be tied to the frame for additional safety.

• Manufactured with a robust steel frame, heavy duty steel hinges and lightweight reinforced aluminium checker plate lid. The hatch is finished with a red heavy duty electrostatic powder coating
• Fits between floor joists and can be opened from above or below
• Ladder slots allow hatch to be closed whilst ladder is in place
• Independently tested by Tesmec Ltd. Hatch tested with a Uniformly Distributed Load of 228Kg with a permanent displacement of 0.05mm when loading removed
• The frame is predrilled to allow the unit to be screw fixed to timber flooring. All fixing holes should be used to ensure a firm fixing
• Opening Size: 580mm x 724mm
