The Stepped Cavity Plate provides a secure, temporary access solution for bridging the cavity between the brick and blockwork, enabling site personnel to safely cross onto the working deck when stepping from the scaffolding and vice versa. Alongside the Cavity Step Plate in our range, both plates are suitable for use in cavity wall constructions designed to meet current Part L regulations for 150mm cavities. 

The Stepped Cavity Plate provides a walkway over cavity walls, also functioning as a step system that is installed from the joist deck to the working deck from the external scaffold platform. This then creates a walkway over the cavity wall at the raised joist deck level, providing secure access and reducing the risk of accidents when stepping down from the joist deck. 

This temporary walkway is designed for the demarcation and access of personnel and should not be loaded with materials or machinery.
