Firmus Professional Barriers – Overview

The Firmus Professional is a ‘Chapter 8’ type barrier, designed to segregate and protect personnel on construction sites and other situations where traffic management is required. Designed to meet the standards set by Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual and the New Roads & Street Works Act, the Firmus Professional is fully compatible with other hook and eye barrier systems, allowing for easy integration into existing setups. 

Made from 96.5% post-consumer recycled UVHDPE, the barrier is supplied in orange as standard with dark grey anti-trip feet, or optional Hi Vis yellow feet, both made from 100% post-consumer recycled heavy-duty PVC. The low-profile feet provide stability, durability, and reduced trip risk in high-traffic outdoor environments.

The Firmus Professional also offers Class C wind resistance up to 19.5 mph. The corrosion and weather resistant Firmus Spigot System ensures secure, long-lasting connections with minimal maintenance. Additional features also include lifting handles for easy mobility, a stackable and reusable design, fixing points for signage, and a large, embossed area for branding.
