Designed for use with the TrenchCross Bridge, these steel edge protection railings provide enhanced fall protection around excavations. Available in both small and large sizes, the railings are compatible with their corresponding small and large TrenchCross Bridges.

TrenchCross Overview: 

TrenchCross is a robust temporary access ramp, designed to provide a secure crossing and enable access for site personnel and light equipment when working over or around excavations and open trenches.

Strong and lightweight, the ramp features a non-slip traction surface to reduce the risk of slips in wet, muddy, or uneven environments. High-visibility reflective edging clearly defines the crossing area, improving awareness for all site workers. Integrated handles allow for easy single-person handling and tool-free installation, and where additional stability is required the ramp can also be secured to the ground using fixings.

When used in conjunction with the steel edge protection railings, the TrenchCross system offers enhanced fall protection around excavations. Its modular design allows multiple units to be connected to increase width, making it adaptable to a wide range of trench sizes and site layouts.

Reusable and manufactured from 100% recycled HDPE featuring steel-reinforced underside strips, TrenchCross provides a sustainable access solution. The smaller version supports a point load up to 500Kg, while the larger version supports a point load up to 1000Kg, with a trench span of 600mm and 1100mm respectively, making them suitable for both pedestrian use and lightweight equipment.
